PlayStation 4

Die PlayStation 4 erschien am 15. November 2013 in Nordamerika und nur wenige Tage später, am 29. November 2013, in Europa. Als Prozessor wurde ein Octa Core AMD Jaguar x86 verbaut, der mit 1.6 GHz arbeitete. Als Grafikkarte zauberte eine veränderte AMD-Radeon Karte die Grafikpracht auf heimische Bildschirme.

Am 10. November 2016 brachte Sony die viermal so schnelle Weiterentwicklung namens PlayStation 4 Pro auf den Markt. Die Erhöhung der Taktfrequenz ermöglicht nun eine höhere Bildwiederholfrequenz oder Auflösungen bis zu 4K.
